Description
The ProCair Prime is a ground breaking, all-in-one alternating pressure mattress with an integrated pump. It is uniquely fitted with an auto weight sensing mechanism to eliminate the need for manual set up and adjustment. It also prevents users and staff from incorrectly setting the weight. The sensor tests weight every 12 minutes and also features a Fowler Booster to add weight to the mattress when positioning a patient in the sitting position.
The cover is designed for maximum infection control with a fully sealed base. It is designed to minimise the risk of bacterial contamination and maximise patient care and safety in an acute care environment. Welded seams and double-layered waterfall flaps are standard across all models.
The ProCair Prime is adaptable for different clinical needs. It can be used as a fully alternating pressure mattress and can also be easily converted to a hybrid foam mattress.
Easy to setup
The ProCair Prime automatically adjusts the pressure to suit the weight of the patient and does not have a separate pump to hang from the bed.
AutoCair
No more concerns over correct pressure level settings with the AutoCair feature – continuous automatic weight sensing technology that delivers fail safe patient comfort levels irrespective of their position. Manual adjustment can still be made for individualised therapy or comfort.
ActivCair
Enhanced dynamic therapy and increased stability with the comfort of 1 in 3 alternation. At any one time, the patient is supported by at least two out of three alternating cells, while pressure is relieved by the third cell. This cycle creates and optimum healing environment. It also reduces the sensation of movement while static head cells provide a stable pillow surface irrespective of alternation cycle.
EasyCair
All in one system with combined mattress and pump with easy setup and does not require a bed end to hang a separate pump. The pump is also protected from potential damage from accidentally being bumped off a bed end. The all in one system can be easily and quickly moved between beds.
DuoCair
Mattress can be easily converted to a hybrid mattress by adjusting the position of a built-in foam layer. Hybrid mode provides even greater comfort for the patient. Easily and quickly converts back into dynamic mode to step-up to complete pressure off-loading if required.
Unique Features
The straps are designed to attach to the inside frame of the hospital bed allowing sheets to easily be tucked in without interference by the straps.
Electrical leads are looped through the mattress cover to avoid potential damage. They are however visible for safety tag and testing and also for visual checks.
The system is designed to be component based for easy repair and maintenance.
Built in Stand Up Alarm when the patient leaves the bed. The signal will be activated when the patient has moved of the mattress.
The Procair Plus model features a Heel Zone.
All adjustments are operated through a hand control.
Static Side Bolsters increase patient safety and sense of stability by reducing the risk of cell collapse at side edges.
