This removable bedrail is ideal for patients requiring assistance whilst turning, repositioning or during transfers. It can be easily slidden between the mattress and bed base and it provides a support rail on the side of the bed. The rail drops down below mattress height by simple release mechanism to provide better access for bed transfers.

This is an efficient and effective unit which prevents a senior (Alzheimers and dementia) from exiting the wrong side of a bed in the middle of the night - and then losing her bearings and becoming confused in the dark. It comes preconstructed and is extremely sturdy. It wedges firmly under the mattress and can not be dislodged by the reclined patient. Unexpectedly, it's visual presence during daylight serves to reinforce that that side of the bed is blocked - and the patient remains aware (and unconcerned) that the deterrent exists.
