In 1958, the Oscar Group first opened its doors as an upholstery business in Horsham, Victoria by its founder Leo Op de Coul. Nearly 25 years later Leo, along with his son, Anthony branched out into manufacturing highly quality lounge suites under the updated name, Oscar Furniture. Today Oscar Furniture is best known for it’s highly customisable ‘made to measure’ lift and recline chairs, the ‘Hudson’ and ‘Barwon’ (Formerly the ‘Brumby’ and ‘Menningham’).
